How Numbers to 100 Are Built

Numbers to 100 aren't just a sequence to memorize — they're built from tens and units, and that's exactly why one number is bigger than another and why addition sometimes "carries over" into the next ten. Take 47: it is 4 full tens (four bundles of ten) plus 7 loose units, which is why it sits between 40 and 50, and why adding 3 more fills the units up and carries you over to a brand-new ten, 50. This quiz checks whether you understand how numbers work, not just whether you can recite them. Take it easy: the first questions are simple, and the last ones need a bit of thinking.
